It was a 3 days 2 nights getaway for 4 close friends of us. Single or even two and three bedroom suites which include private bedrooms, a separate living area and kitchenette are readily available to be served.

Since it was late afternoon already when we arrived at the hotel we decided to spend the first day enjoying the facilities while planning for the second day schedule. The first thing to be done after checking-in was non-other than welcoming ourselves to this wonderful place with a wholesome meal! There were 3 different F & B set-ups in the hotel – Kembali Kitchen, Hugo’s in the Sky and Beanz Café. We had opted Kembali Kitchen as everybody could order whatever food they like from the Ala Carte menu.

After lunch we walked around the hotel to take photos. We had also pre-booked dinner at Hugo’s in the Sky to indulge ourselves with fine dining experience. There’s also indoor kid’s playground and health wellness center. We enjoyed our time at the infinity swimming pool while later we went to the Gym and sauna rooms. The Gym room is well equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment. The pool was a heated pool so we could swim comfortably even the weather of Genting Highland was cold.

We were extremely impressed when we entered into Hugo in the Sky. The best thing of this restaurant was its glass partitions which allowed us to intake the breathtaking scenery of the Titiwangsa Mountain while the night gradually fell. We were as if watching an animated oil painting which we could never see it in the city where we are staying. I could not forget the spectacular view! The cuisine was equally great. Excited, we had ordered a little bit too much food. Gambas Al Pil Pil, Albandigas and Spanish Beef Pizza were rated 5 stars. We loved the Wild Catch Barramundi and Australian Lamb Shank. We enjoyed ourselves at Hugo in the Sky with good food and beer for about 3 hours so before leaving we could still take Crème Brulee as dessert!

At the second day, we had joined the mountain getaway tracking course. This was indeed a precious opportunity for all of us in Malaysia to embrace the nature with cold weather. We liked it very much! We joined the challenge course, fox flying and rock climbing arranged by the hotel at promotion package of RM30 per person. The hotel could tailor the program even the participation is only 1 person. It was a fresh thrilling cool outdoor experience as the weather of Genting Highlands was only about 17 to 18 Degree Celsius that day! Imagine when the wind blew….wow it was so exciting!

In the afternoon, we took hotel’s free shuttle bus service to Genting Highlands. We went to renowned Genting Casino, visited the newly opened Sky Avenue Mall and took the cable car to GPO and drop by Chin Swee Cave Temple. We only came back to the hotel at night, had drinks and cakes at the Beanz Café as supper before we went to bed.

There was quite a large crowd when we were checking out on the third day of vacation. The polite service crew told us that a company team building program was taking place. We were told their meeting rooms are large enough to accommodate 250 persons, while the largest banquet hall could accommodate up to 400 guests. The environment, the outdoor activities and the well-equipped function rooms/halls makes it an ideal choice for corporate events and team building program besides individuals, couples as well as families.

The word’s first 20th Century Fox theme park is going to be built at Genting Highlands so definitely we will be back to Genting Highlands for holiday again. Accommodation choice? Well, definitely Best Western Premier Ion Delemen Hotel!
