The One and Only Boutique Hotel in Batu Ferringhi – Lone Pine Hotel, Penang

I always know that staying in a beach resort is relaxing, but Lone Pine Hotel Penang impressed me with more than just sunny sandy beach! Attracted by internet reviewed as the top 15 most instagrammable attractions in Penang and the only boutique hotel at Batu Ferringhi, we have booked a room for a 3 days 2 nights short getaway.

Building by the beautiful beach of Batu Feringghi, the sun-drenched Colonial style building is spacious and always airy. Most of the guests were young couples, young family with small kids and foreigners. It’s strategic located as we can explore nearby attractions in Teluk Bahang and Tanjung Bungah as there are just within 15 to 20 mins driving distance!

Our room was well equipped with everything we need for a cozy stay. It was facing the beach and therefore we could hear the wave while sitting at the balcony. Surprisingly there was a Jacuzzi with salt spa water at the balcony. It was a really special experience to have Jacuzzi while soaking in the sounds of waves crashing.

A whole row of pine trees are planted along the beach and next to the trees there is a beach view swimming pool. The trees around the landscape have kept the pool surroundings shady. The ambience is so ideal for sweet, delightful and blissful wedding! Only then we recalled how internet reviews have described Lone Pine Hotel as a popular spot for garden or beach wedding, romantic proposal and honeymoon!

Another fabulous thing of the resort is their tasty meals served! There are 2 in-house restaurants – The Bungalow and Matsu, serving local, western and Japanese food. In the morning, a variety of buffet breakfasts is served. If you are lucky enough you will be welcomed by cute monkeys with rounded eyes while having breakfast! While Matsu is the only Japanese restaurant at Batu Ferringhi, serve dinner and it is also open to public. Matsu is the only Japanese restaurant at Batu Feringghi and it is also open to public. The layout of the restaurant is suitable for personal gatherings as well as business appointments. At night, we sat by the beach under the starry sky, feeling the gentle breeze and chit chatting till we were tired enough to go to bed.

Everything here in Lone Pine Hotel Penang was so good until it was hard to say good bye when the vacation ended. If you are looking for a place for gathering, or merely doing nothing but relax, Lone Pine Hotel Penang is definitely the best choice. Well, bye for now and I shall definitely visit again in my next trip to Penang!
