According to history this mansion used to be an all-girls boarding school. The beautiful restoration pays tribute to the history and timber architecture of the building. The mansion features 40 rooms which consists of standard rooms, family rooms and 2 bedroom apartments. The rooms are all named after the former matrons and headmistress of the boarding school which are the Betty Johnson, Marry Sharp, Thelma Cook, Caroline Sharp, Francis McDougall and Harriette McDougall. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning to ensure that customers have a comfortable stay. Rooms are decorated beautiful with accents of timber and pops of color to captivate you.

You don’t have to worry about looking for a place to dine as the Marian has the Granary Kitchen + Bar. Housed in a restored warehouse, this restaurant and bar opens everyday from 7:00am to 12:00pm. The Granary features Mediterranean and European cuisines and homemade baked goods. The one-a-kind ambience that the Granary boasts is accompanied with live music that are played by local bands and singers.

Looking for a perfect location for a garden wedding or simple celebrations? The Marian is a perfect choice. With Kuching’s panoramic view as a backdrop, the Marian poolside and terrace is a perfect location for intimate and casual occasions that can support up to 250 guests.

The Sarawak Museum
Built in 1891, the Sarawak Museum are one of the most import historical landmarks that displays the natural history of Sarawak. Sarawak is well know for its abundance of untouched flora and fauna. The ground floor exhibits artifacts pertaining to Sarawak’s fauna – reptiles, mammals, birds and more. The Old Court House
The Old Court House is a beautiful heritage building located near Kuching Waterfront. Built by Sir Charles Brooke, the building used to house the city’s administrative centre.
